It's no surprise that my primary interest in people was, and still is, dancers. My biggest influences in the early stages were David Hamilton (for the ballet) and Bob Carlos Clarke; more recently I have come to love the simplisitic style of Petter Hegre and Walter Bosque. However my favourite picture of another human being of all time was Patrick Lichfield's "morning after the heavy night before" portrait of fellow photographer, David Bailey. Although I do work in the studio, I actually prefer working just using available ambient light as I feel it gives a much more natural result.
